Students Benefit from Community Partnerships with Alternative Cooperative Education

Thanks to the support of local business, many Aurora Public Schools special education students have the opportunity to learn through real-life work experiences.

Alternative Cooperative Education is an APS training program that provides vocational education and work experiences for special education students.

We would like to thank all the businesses that have opened their doors to our students and provided opportunities for internships, tours, job shadowing, and employment.

An APS student learns cooking techniques in the kitchen at Lupita's Restaurant.
