Worried about safety during pick-up and drop-off times at school, a group of Arkansas parents decided to become part of the safety solution. Led by Debbie Bailey, parents formed Arkansas Safety Solutions. They met with local homeowner associations, city planners, police officers and APS staff members to identify challenges and discuss ways to keep students safe. The Safety Solutions team was born. |
Bailey was recently honored with a Superintendent’s Award as outstanding parent/community member of the quarter for her contributions to Arkansas. |
