From early morning school events to late night meetings, the Aurora Public Schools Board of Education is leading students and staff to success. The seven-member board establishes policies that keep APS focused on what is best for students.
The work of the board members doesn't stop after attending two board meetings a month. Board members are constantly on the go attending school and district events and representing APS on local, state and national levels. Despite their hard work and dedication, elected board members receive no financial compensation.
Aurora Public Schools is proud to join districts across the state in recognizing the commitment of school board members in preparing today's students for tomorrow's world.
January is School Board Recognition Month
Thank you to the APS Board of Education members for their selfless service to our schools and community!
