Boston Elementary Receives Books from Coca-Cola through the Reading Is Fundamental Program

Congratulations to the Boston Bears!

Boston Elementary has been chosen to receive four RIF/Coca-Cola Classroom collections. The thematic collections include a total of 371 hardcover books for classroom use and are valued at $4541.

Each collection comes with a wooden bookshelf to permanently store the classroom lending libraries. They are also accompanied by resource materials describing the use of the collection and motivational activities to strengthen parent-child-school interaction.

Collections are designed for different reading levels and contain classics, award-winners, and multi-cultural books chosen by a blue-ribbon panel of RIF experts.

Boston Principal Jerry Lemons presents the four book collections
to the student body at Boston Elementary.

Boston was selected to receive the books because of their record of successful book distributions and motivational activities as well as their responsible reporting practices.
