Former APS Students Talk to Law Classes
Gateway High School welcomed two former APS students with high profile jobs to speak to law and government classes.

State Treasurer Mike Coffman, who attended Elkhart Elementary and East Middle School, answered students' questions about state government and emphasized the need for students to be active in local politics.

Denver District Attorney Bill Ritter, a member of Gateway's first graduating class, spoke with students about the role of the district attorney's office and engaged students in discussion of the legal system.
