East Middle School "Home of the Free" Photos
Students at East Middle School learned about photojournalism in the Home of the Free program. Washington Mutual and Canon USA supplied digital cameras for student teams to use while interviewing local public servants in action.

Students from 21 area schools submitted photographs for judging. The photographs selected as regional winners are on display at the Colorado History Museum until May 3, 2004. The photos selected as national winners will be displayed at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. from mid-July to the end of August, 2004.

Congratulations to the East Middle School team for these 4 regional and 2 national winners.
