Aurora Community Group Committed to Lansing, Fulton Elementary Schools

Sometimes once just isn’t enough! This is the case for members from the Lowry Community Christian Church who have spent the first part of this school year answering one of Superintendent Barry’s challenges.  Barry challenged the entire community to support our students and schools.

On a mission to support their community, the LCCC chose to support students at two local APS schools.  Not only did they donate over $500 in school supplies to Lansing Elementary, they also donated funds to support the Fulton Elementary “Students of the Month” quarterly family gathering.

During the “family gathering,” parents, grandparents and extended relatives took a moment to honor 24 students for their good citizenship.

Families snacked together, worked on an art project and cheered on their children.
