Gateway High School Community Partnerships
Increasing community involvment is an Aurora Achievement Initiative priority. Many APS schools partner with local businesses to positively impact student learning. Gateway High School is an excellent example.  "We want to thank these community organizations for supporting student learning at our school," says Gateway assistant principal John Delaney.

Raytheon Corporation provides math tutors for Gateway students.
BurgerKing awards a $1000.00 scholarship to a Gateway student each year.

Gateway students give back to the community in return. Gateway's Future Business Leaders Association's community service events include the Race for the Cure and Bonfils blood drives.
Outstanding staff and students are recognized with gift certificates from Outback Steakhouse, Chipoltle and Baja Fresh. You can find photos of Gateway's outstanding students at the Abilene Outback Steakhouse.

Gateway's FBLA students found a very personal way to contribute to our community in the Locks of Love event.
