These classes are open to parents from Boston and Fletcher elementary schools as well as Montview parents.

Not only do parents increase their English-literacy skills, they also learn how to stay involved with their children's education.

"I'm seeing parents who feel more welcome and confident in our schools. Like their children, they are enthusiastic about learning in APS," said Montview parent coordinator Ruth Burciaga.
