Paris Elementary Celebrates with an Open House
Paris Elementary celebrated a new school year in a brand new building with an Open House on Thursday, Aug. 31. Superintendent John L. Barry, APS board members and staff members welcomed parents, students and community members to the new school building, funded with bond dollars approved by APS voters in 2002.
The new Paris Elementary is a three-story building designed to accomodate 460 students.The school features six classrooms, a small group classroom and a large multipurpose area on each of the three floors. Three additional classrooms are provided for art, music, and a computer lab.
