Students enrolled in the yearlong Parenting and Child Development class received hands-on training on infant and childcare.

“The kids here at the daycare absolutely love it and always look forward to the activities the Hinkley students bring,” La Petite Director Leila Freeman said.

The daycare benefits by having a higher student/teacher ratio during the hours the students are there. It is also beneficial to the Hinkley students because they learn directly about children and how to care for them.
