Defense contractor
Raytheon partnered with Aurora Hills Middle School and offered
the Math Bound, Success Found Program, a parent, school and
community project.
Raytheon engineers traveled to the
school to provide tutoring and mentoring to African-American
students who wanted to improve their math scores. |
The purpose of this program was three-fold:
- To teach students mathematical processes
involved in problem solving,
- To provide students with mathematical
knowledge that would help build self esteem regarding math,
and
- To improve CSAP scores
