Sable Students Benefit from Local Businesses

ProLogis, an international provider of distribution facilities and services based in Aurora, has been working closely with the staff and students at Sable Elementary School.

During the 2002-03 school year ProLogis volunteers read with Sable students and worked on various special programs with the school, including a landscaping project.

The Medical Center of Aurora has also been an important community partner with Sable.

They not only provided financial support to the school, but Medical Center staff volunteered at special programs, spearheaded a coat drive and organized a holiday basket give-away for Sable families.

Aurora Medical Center’s Sally Guinane and Sable teacher Jeanne Henley work with kindergarten students.

"Both ProLogis and The Medical Center of Aurora are great examples of how business and community organizations support the education of our children," Sable Principal Ivan Duran said.
