APS, through the Office of Medicaid Services, has developed a partnership with Healthy Smiles, a dental clinic affiliated with The Children's Hospital. Through the partnership, APS students without dental insurance can receive dental care.

On February 6, 30 APS students received free dental care at the Healthy Smiles clinic.

Pediatric dentists from The Children's Hospital and the University of Colorado Dental School, and volunteer dentists from the community, provided pediatric dental care at the Fitzsimons location.
