| Students stood with hands across their hearts as Aurora police officers and firefighters raised the American flag at Century and Vassar elementary schools. The Tollgate Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution sponsored memorial ceremonies at both schools. The ceremonies honored police officers, firefighters and the men and women of the military. |
| Century students will also partner with DAR in the Patriot Project. Those who participate will create holiday cards to send to service members overseas. |
