Parents and students learn together at the Wheeling Elementary family math night.

Involving parents in the education of their children is a primary focus of the Aurora Achievement Initiative. Math did brought parents, students, siblings and school staff members together to enjoy an evening of math related activities and games.

Twelve classrooms were filled with math games for all levels. Students estimated the number of candies in several jars in the hallways. Parents solved math problems with their children. A fun and educational evening was had by all.
