The focus of the grant is to develop intensive reading support for the
second and third graders on individual literacy plans. |
|
|
|
Clyde Miller will use the funding for the following specific needs: |
|
|
|
Need 1: Installation of small group instruction incorporating the five
dimensions of reading described by the amended Colorado Basic Literacy Act. |
|
|
|
Need 2: Obtaining additional copies of the district elementary reading
assessment for ongoing testing during the school year. |
|
|
|
Need 3: Staff continuing education through coaching and instruction for
higher standards of instruction and development assessments. |
