The grant funds will be used for the second and third grade students on
individual literacy plans. Students will receive additional differentiated
small group instruction and extended day and year reading classes. Through
this effort, they will be able to achieve grade level reading and obtain the
standards set by the Colorado Basic Literacy Act. |

Additionally, the funds will support on-going professional development for
the staff and the materials required for the literacy training for parents
plus the English language learner program. |
