Asset # 3 B OTHER ADULT RELATIONSHIPS

Having this asset means you receive support and encouragement from three or more adults other than your parents. The other adults in your life could be a family friend, a neighbor, a youth leader or a coach with whom you can talk about many difficult even serious things. At East there are almost 100 adults, dedicated to helping kids, with whom you can develop a strong relationship. That=s the most important element in our After School Activity Program., which will start September 30^th. By participating in an activity or sport, you can develop significant relationships with teachers and other staff. Of course no other adult can take the place of your parent, but the more supportive, encouraging adults you have in your life, the healthier, safer and more successful you will be. Remember: Assets Count!
