In the Aurora Public Schools system, you may register your child at your neighborhood school. It is not necessary to visit the Administration building. This will allow you to see your school and meet some of the office staff.

Please bring the following information to school when registering:

• Verification of the child's birthday is required through a birth certificate, hospital certificate, baptismal certificate, or church certificate
• Address verification (check with your school)
• Health information (shot records), proving the child is in compliance with the state's immunizations laws. Shots required are:
  • 5 shots* - DTaP (unless fourth dose was given after the fourth birthday)
  • 4 shots* - Polio (unless fourth dose was given after the fourth birthday)
  • 3 shots - Hepatitis B
  • 2 shots - MMR
  • 1 shot - Varicella
