World Geography is a year long course earning students 1.0 credits in Social Studies.

Knowledge of geography is essential in order for students to recognize relationships between people and places. Understanding and valuing other cultures is important to increasingly diverse socities. Students need to understand interactions between people and changing cultural attitudes to make informed choices about their lives and the world in which they live.
