|    CO-861 ROTC Weekend Results |
CO-861 competed in it's final drill meet of the 2006/2007 season this weekend at the Denver Coliseum. The competition included 35 high schools from Colorado, Nevada, Utah and Nebraska (representing the Air Force, Army and the Marine Corps). Some schools entered multiple teams (up to two) in some events. The results were as follows:
| Unarmed IDR |
First Place (Field of 41 teams) |
| Color Guard (Eagle Squad) |
First Place (Field of 58 teams) |
| Color Guard (Falcon Squad) |
Second Place (Field of 58 teams) |
| Unarmed Exhibition (Eaglettes) |
Third Place (Field of 19 teams) |
| Individual Drill-Down Susan Kicker |
Second Place (Field of 420 cadets) |
One of the 'official' goals for our Program this year was to beat last year's trophy count of 22 trophies. The five awarded this weekend gave us a total of 25 trophies for the 2006/2007 season thereby realizing our goal and, by a wide margin, making us the dominant Air Force drill team and color guard unit in the State. Fifty eight color guard teams made this the largest field we've competed against. To come out on top is a real tribute to our cadets!!!!!
