Sign Language
The purpose of the Gateway Sign Language Club is to have a great time with others
that either know or want to learn sign language. To learn sign language in a positive
environment, and also to be active in the community by helping others.
Some activities that the members participate in are: Christmas carolling at Jewell
Elementary, teaching students at Jewell a few phrases in sign language and about
American Sign Language (ASL). The club also participates in the Colorado School
for the Deaf and Blind's Homecoming.
