New Teacher Orientation Session Titles

New Teacher Training Workshops are 2 1/2 hour training sessions.
You need to select and attend only ONE workshop.
During this workshop you will learn about district applications, District provided resources and technology related tools put into place for you as a new teacher to APS.
Each workshop is a hands-on/presentation held in a computer lab which accomodates 20 attendees.
You will leave with your Usernames and Login credentials, and hit the ground running with email, voice mail, network resources and secure server storage space making efficient communication with peers, students and parents possible. Lastly we will guide you to district internet/intranet based teaching tools and district provided applications.

Remember, choose only one session

How to Register for Workshops
Step 1: Click on a title link to see more information about that workshop.
Step 2: Make a note of the c_ ID, Date & Time for the workshop you are interested in attending. (If your selected workshop is full you will be prompted to make another choice and you will be given an opportunity to register for another session)
Step 3: Proceed to the Online Registration page by clicking the Registration Button

Step 4: Fill in your personal registration information
(Complete all information fields) Click the Save your demographic info button
 Step 5: Select workshop c_ID number from the dropdown menu and click Submit Request
(Remember to print your Registration Reply Form and bring with you to your session)

Teachers will be introduced to key Aurora Public Schools applications and resources:

B. continually evaluate and reflect on professional practice to make informed decisions regarding the use of technology in support of student learning.
C. apply technology to increase productivity.
D. use technology to communicate and collaborate with peers, parents, and the larger community in order to nurture student learning.
