Quick Start Guide to using United Streaming in your Classroom (Video)

This month's great idea for using United Streaming in the classroom.

This month's idea comes to us from Donita Torres of Murphy Creek K-8 School who teaches 6th,7th and 8th grade Social Studies. Her great idea is:

Actually, the idea is a combination of two ingenious students and my own use of technology. I was using Google Earth to view the trail of Lewis & Clark as it looks today and I had incorporated links to view different websites of each. Two of my students thought that it would be great to have links to movie clips of Lewis & Clark's experiences instead. The students worked together to find movie clips on United Streaming that pertained to specific points along the Lewis & Clark trail and made an interactive trail of Lewis & Clark's trail to include video excerpts at stops along the way.
