Superintendent John L. Barry is encouraging students to “pick up the PACE” on CSAP. Barry is talking with students and parents about what this test means and why it’s so important for the success of every student, school and the entire district.
To kick off CSAP testing, Barry is holding rallies at every secondary school. Barry’s goal is to encourage student success, inspire a new culture of learning and answer student questions and concerns about CSAP.
Barry is talking to kids about respecting themselves and the people around them, the importance of being in school and not being truant, and what the CSAP means to their individual school programs.
West Middle School students participate in Mr. Barry's rally about CSAP.
APS Superintendent John L. Barry speaks with students at West Middle School about CSAP testing.
Superintendent Barry is also motivating elementary students to do well on CSAP through a podcast at www.aps.k12.co.us/supt/podcasts.
CSAP testing began Feb. 12 for some schools. Parents can support APS preparation efforts. Students should get a good night’s rest, eat a good breakfast and arrive to school on time. To learn about your child’s CSAP testing dates, please contact your child’s school.
