Fletcher Students Have a Ball with Denver Nugget Mark Randall
Fletcher Elementary students had a ball during an all school assembly with Mark Randall, former player and current community ambassador for the Denver Nuggets.  The children looked up to the 6’8” athlete, literally and figuratively.

Randall taught them what it takes to be a role model, how to work well on a team and how to stay healthy.

He also urged students to draw a self-portrait of what they think they’ll look like and be doing at the age of 25.

“I think it’s great that Randall encouraged the children to think ahead and plan for their futures. I want the students to believe in themselves and have high expectations for what they can accomplish.   I learned a lot from them by getting a glimpse of their perceived future selves.”
