Hinkley Staff Honors Students at CSAP Award Rally

Hinkley High School staff handed out more than 650 medals for CSAP success to students who scored highly proficient or advanced in math, reading, writing and science.

The most prestigious award went to the students who gained 100 points or more on any of the 2006 CSAP tests. Hinkley had 42 students who met that goal!

Students used this opportunity to showcase their talent and pride in their school.  Hinkley’s  Step Team performed a hip-hop routine to Ciara’s “1, 2, Step” song.  The Student Leadership group performed skits reminding students of the rules at school.  They displayed banners that read “No Cell Phones” and “Keep Our School Clean.”
Hinkley students filled the gymnasium to celebrate their success.  Principal Peter Mosby emceed the event and called out the names of students receiving medals. “We are proud of you all and the hard work you do at school,” said Mosby.
